Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy covers the SteadyForce bundle website (steadyforce.app) and, by reference, all four Steady Ecosystem apps: SteadyFocus, SteadyForge, SteadyFuel, and SteadyOne. Each individual app also publishes its own Privacy Policy — this document covers the ecosystem as a whole and the SteadyForce bundle subscription specifically.

Orivent Studios is a sole-trader operation based in Cape Town, South Africa, subject to POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act). We collect only what we need to operate the apps and process payments. We do not sell your data.

Data we collect

Account identity

All Steady apps support anonymous use by default — no account is required to start. If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your Firebase UID, email address, and display name to link your data across devices and apps.

App data

Each app stores the data you enter: habits and focus sessions (SteadyFocus), workouts (SteadyForge), food logs (SteadyFuel), goals and journal entries (SteadyOne). This data is stored locally on your device (ObjectBox/Isar) and mirrored to Firebase Firestore under your UID for backup and cross-device access.

Daily summary

Each app writes a daily performance summary to a shared Firestore document. This enables cross-app AI coaching — e.g. SteadyForge's AI reading your nutrition data from SteadyFuel. You control this via per-app data sharing settings. Wellness data (sleep, mood, energy, stress) entered in SteadyOne is never passed to any AI coaching function.

Purchase data

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play. We receive purchase receipts via RevenueCat (our subscription management platform) to verify your tier. We do not store payment card details.

Crash and diagnostics

Each app uses Firebase Crashlytics to record anonymous crash reports. Crash reports do not include personally identifiable information beyond a Firebase installation ID.

How we use your data

• To operate the app features you use
• To sync your data across your devices via Firebase
• To verify your subscription status and unlock paid features
• To power AI coaching features (only data you have opted in to share)
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Steady apps.

Third-party services

The Steady Ecosystem uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics, App Check
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management; may use the Android Advertising ID for attribution analytics
• Google AI (Gemini) — AI coaching features send your relevant in-app data to Google's Gemini API via our Cloud Functions. Data is not retained by Google for training purposes under our API terms.
• Open Food Facts — barcode lookups in SteadyFuel; queries are sent to the Open Food Facts API. No personal data is included in these requests.

AI features and your data

AI coaching features in each Steady app send relevant data to Google's Gemini API via our Firebase Cloud Functions. The following governs what is and is not shared:

• Only data you have explicitly opted in to share (via the data sharing toggle in each app's settings) is included in AI prompts.
• Wellness data entered in SteadyOne (sleep, mood, energy, stress) is never included in any AI coaching prompt in any Steady app — it is used for personal insight and charts only.
• All AI calls are user-initiated — no AI feature auto-fires in the background.

Your rights

Under POPIA and applicable data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. To delete your account and all associated data, use the "Delete Account" option in any Steady app's Settings screen. This permanently removes your data from Firebase within 30 days.
